888 926 Carbon race air runner

This type of air runner was fitted to the last of the factory 888 926 'corse' machines, it is also possible to 'retro' this to earlier models.

It is used to direct the air from the two ducts in the front panel into the inlet for the one or three piece airbox, depending on which you have fitted.

On genuine factory 'corse' bikes the ECU was mounted up front, located where you would expect to find the headlight.

If fitting this to standard road machines please note that the standard front subframe cannot be used, so the mounting of your headlight, your three clock dash and the support for your mirrors will have to be redesigned. I have however seen this successfully carried out allowing both the headlamp and the mirrors to be used.

The part is compatible with the original Ducati item which was part number  48410081B.

851 888 air runner / fairing brackets

These carbon items were not generally available from Ducati, though it is rumoured that they were fitted at one stage. However due to the bikes having been penalised with an increased minimum weight penalty, in the WSB series, the weight reduction exercise that the factory had experimented with was no longer continued and ultimately dropped.

These are manufactured with over a dozen layers of carbon which are laid in a multi-axis manner so as to give maximum rigidty in all planes.

These are similiar in all dimensions to the factory supplied alloy items and therefore interchangeable. The genuine alloy supplied items were listed with the following part numbers 82910491A (dx) and 82910501 (sx).

This is a carbon dash unit as fitted to the Corse Ducati racers from about 1992 onwards.

This part is compatible with the original Ducati part number 40710021B

851 carbon upper race headstock plate

A Corse type upper headstock frame plate specifically made for those that are running either the aluminium or carbon tanks as fitted to the pre 1992 models.

The upper plate is attached above where the regulator would sit on a road bike, between the tank and the yokes.

This type of upper plate was never originally supplied by Ducati.

888 carbon upper race headstock plate 

A Corse type upper headstock frame plate specifically made for those that are running either the carbon or steel tanks, specifically the tanks with the forward latching clasp as fitted to the post 1992 models.

The upper plate is mounted above where the regulator would sit on a road bike, between the tank and the yokes.

This part is compatible with the Ducati original, part number 44210201A

851 888 926 Carbon race lower headstock plate

This lower headstock frame plate as fitted to the Ducati 888 926 'Corse' bikes.

The lower plate fits directly below the upper plate, attatched by cable ties. The plates help to direct air from the air conveyor directly into the one piece airbox and can be 'retro' fitted to the earlier models fitted with the three piece airbox.

This part is compatible with the original Ducati part number 44210211A.

851 Carbon race tank blanking plate

These were fitted later in the evolution of the factory 851 Corse racers, when it was discovered that the huge opening at the front of the carbon tanks 'letterbox' was not having the desired affect of increasing the power output.

This style of blanking plate can be seen fitted to the 851 Corse racer which is displayed in the Ducati museum in Bologna, Italy.  This product has been remanufactured from a mould  taken from an original New Old Stock (NOS) part.

Carbon one piece air box

This is a race type airbox for fitting to 1992 onwards 888 926 Ducati models. It will fit on all road going machines that do not have the cross brace or the genuine race frames which have the removable brace.

Carbon large race air velocity stacks trumpets (50mm dia.)

This pair of the race type velocity stacks were fitted to the Ducati Corse 888 race bikes, suitable for fitment with the one piece air box but can easily be retro fitted with the three piece carbon airbox also.

These are the later larger mouthed carbon velocity stacks, as opposed to the earlier versions which look like the standard velocity stacks.

This part is compatible with the original Ducati part number 80210071C.

It is possible to mount all of your underseat electrics above the undertray, as per the original plastic rear tray. It will involve a certain amount of fabrication on your part, to hang the electrics from the subframe.

Ohlins Carbon race remote oil reservoir clamp (50mm dia)

This is a carbon rear Ohlins oil reservoir clamp, as fitted to the Corse Ducati racers from about 1992 onwards. It allows the rear shock to be adjusted without removing the rear race seat unit if the machine is fitted with the rear underseat seat oil catch tank, breather box units.

This part is compatible with the Ducati original part number 82911371A

Ohlins carbon race ride height adjuster clamp (35mm dia)

This is a carbon rear Ohlins remote ride height adjuster clamp, as fitted to the Corse Ducati racers around 1994. It allows the rear shock to be adjusted easily without having to try and gain access with the 'C' spanners, which can be dificult at the best of times especially at the the trackside. This clamp allows easy adjustment as it allows the adjuster to be fitted on the left-hand side adjacent to the frame.

This aramid and carbon mix cloth rear lower hugger can be fitted to all models of the 851 888 series, it was also fitted on some of the official Ducati Corse models and will also fit 900 Monsters with the alluminium swing arm.
